Sidemount Diver Specialty Course

MX$10,000.00

Welcome to the beginning of your journey into technical diving!

Sidemount diving offers a great alternative to those who prefer want to dive with twin tanks, but prefer not to carry the weight on their back. Its flexible configuration and low profile when swimming through the water also lend it to divers of different shapes and sizes, and those who want to be able to fit into smaller spaces (caves, anyone?)

However, changing to a new equipment configuration can be a steep learning curve! Therefore, we prefer to provide a minimum of one extra day of training on this course. Over the course of 3-4 days, you will learn to assemble, adjust and put on your equipment, control your buoyancy and trim, monitor and balance gas from two different sources, and manage basic equipment failures and emergencies. For those who intend to continue on to technical/overhead training, we will also introduce finning techniques appropriate for use in confined spaces.

Divers are requested to have a minimum of 50 logged dives prior to scheduling this training.
